When you’re selling your home, you want it to look its absolute best for potential buyers. That’s where home staging comes in. A professional home stager often has an inventory of decor, artwork and furniture they can use to stage your home . They will also rearrange your furniture as needed and help you declutter. They will make the best and more efficient use of your space, showcasing it in the best light. Services can also include painting some exterior surfaces and removing furniture. If you already have furniture that they can use (that will appeal to most buyers), a home stager will add homey, personal touches to the interior in what’s called soft staging. They will have the design and interior decorating experience to do wonders with your home. They will look at your home, inside and outside, evaluate its marketability, and then provide a consultation on what should be done to increase the home’s appeal to the prospective buyers. By minimizing the house’s flaws and highlighting its best features you are “packaging” your house in the most appealing way his means adding neutral and approachable touches like artwork, flowers, decor, throw blankets, and anything that will warm up your home and make it more attractive to the buyers would lead to more interest, higher offers and quicker sales. Home staging, if done right, creates a relaxing and inviting atmosphere, where potential buyers would want to linger. A well-staged home will draw the buyers to online listings and showings, and, hopefully, will end in generous offers.
"Home staging prepares a house for sale by making it look attractive, appealing, and functional to potential buyers. It’s a clever and strategic marketing tool that sell homes faster and at higher prices."
Home staging aims to showcase the home’s best features and create an emotional connection with the buyer, making them feel like they are already living in the property. There are two types of home staging: Vacant Staging and Owner-Occupied Staging, also known as Restyle Staging. Vacant Staging is when a stager brings furniture and decor to fill an empty home. On the other hand, Owner-Occupied Staging involves rearranging and redecorating an occupied dwelling. Both types of staging have their benefits and can help to sell a house quickly and at a higher price. To get the highest quality of work, we use tools like (AI, CAD and Canvas) making sure we produce the best design images for your home. But nothing can ever take the place of hard work hands on that adds that personal touch.
Our movers usually arrive early , so we can set-up everything ready before the job. Typically, load-out takes about 1-2.5 hours, depending on the size of the job. With traffic, we generally arrive on site. Once we arrive at the house, it’s a flurry of activities. Our movers have been with us for a long time now and they know roughly where we want to drop furniture.
They also know that they will need to assemble the beds, furniture, and move all the bins to the kitchen. Once bins are out, we start unpacking everything, so we can visually shop decor pieces and accessories to style each room. Like the way we pull inventory initially, we drop the big pieces first and then work on accessories and artwork. Before we leave, we do an once-over, to make sure every corner is covered and we are happy with the overall staging. More importantly, the home looks ready to photograph before we leave.
