 Hello, my name is Talitha Hicks, the owner and founder of Re-Design By Design Decor Home Staging. My journey into the world of interior design began in my father's carpentry business. From a young age, I was surrounded by the smell of freshly cut wood and the rhythmic sounds of saws and hammers, which ignited my appreciation for craftsmanship and design, inspiring my love for creating. As I grew older, I realized that my passion extended beyond carpentry. I was fascinated by how interiors could be transformed to evoke certain feelings and moods. This interest led me to explore interior design, where I could blend functionality with aesthetics to create harmonious living spaces. For years, I balanced my job with my growing passion for design. I worked diligently, honing my skills and knowledge in both fields. It was a demanding journey, but each step brought me closer to my true calling. Eventually, I reached a crossroads where I had to make a tough decision. The pull of my passion became too strong to resist, and I realized it was time to take a leap of faith. Walking away from my job was one of the most challenging decisions I had ever made, but it was also the most liberating. I knew that pursuing my passion full-time was the only way to truly fulfill my potential. With determination and enthusiasm, I embarked on this new adventure, merging my skills in carpentry, interior design, and fashion. Today, I am grateful for every lesson learned and every step taken on this journey. My background in interior design provides a strong foundation for my work as a home stager, allowing me to create bespoke pieces that enhance living spaces. This path has been filled with challenges, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. Following my passion has allowed me to create a career that is as fulfilling.
